Challenges can arise in even the best-run companies. When pressure slowly turns to stress, it may be difficult to spot the signs, particularly when there are other key business issues that need focusing on. But there may be a growing sense that all is not well, that something needs to be done. You want to help your colleague, and are looking for the right support.
That support can involve meeting with someone from outside the organisation: someone with real business experience, who is also professionally trained in coaching and in counselling. The individual’s needs would be assessed; and he or she could talk in confidence with a professional able to provide them with support from coaching to counselling according to the client’s needs. In a safe, non-judgmental environment, the client would have space to reflect quietly, truthfully and in confidence. The benefits may be long-lasting.
